What Makes Us Different?
We've designed Movley to be fully transparent. You have access to all supplier information, contact information, and process information even if you opt for us to manage the production entirely.
Full Visibility
United States based sales, account management, and supplemental project management. No long nights, or unclear communication. You get to work on your timezone.
USA-Based HQ
Movley has staff on-the-ground in China. This allows us to significantly reduce time to market, manage factories and development more granularly, and flatten the waves for a smooth completion of your project.
China-Based Eyes & Ears
Are you ready to start building?
Tackle the challenges with us, and start making your product a reality.

Are you building something entirely new and need help bringing your product to market? Nearly all the cards are stacked against your success. We can help companies pursuing both ODM (design in-house) and OEM (engineering in-house) development models. Movley can help reduce development times, reduce risk, and increase manufacturing certainty.
is a complex, risky, and challenging process for all hardware companies.
Building a Custom Product
For companies looking to pursue an entirely new product, but want to have high control over the entire process whether to lower costs, protect intellectual property, etc. The entire design and engineering process is handled client-side. Manufacturing processes and instructions are defined, and then refined by the chosen manufacturing partner(s). Movley can help as a supplemental project manager in the development process from design to engineering, interwoven with China-side projects, ensure proper process build-out, and be your eyes and ears on-the-ground to ensure your project moves smoothly.
What is Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)?
The recommended, most cost-effective option for building new products. Your factory, or vendor, can build the entire product from design to engineering. For more complex products, your factory can work specifically in the engineering portion, leaving the design to you. Movley can help project manage and coordinate engineering resources with your vendor, ensure development compliance, break down communication barriers, and be your on-the-ground eyes and ears to push your project smoothly and efficiently.
What is Original Design Manufacturing (ODM)?
We work with your factory to build a production-grade prototype of your product to your satisfaction. We can help you quickly check samples on-the-ground in China until the perfect prototype has been prepared.
Phase 6: Proof Of Concept/Prototype
Once the product is completely prepared and specifications laid, Movley will work with your supplier to conduct a PVT test batch. This batch is large than the EVT or PVT round and will produce fully design & engineering compliant production units.
Phase 10: Test Batch/Production Validation Test (PVT)
Before moving into manufacturing, it's important to understand your target product, product specifications, and market fit. You will need a highly specific, strong product goal; forecasted production quantities; and a product specification breakdown before signing on our services.
Phase 1: Research & Idea
This is the most critical phase of the roadmap. Movley can help find a highly cooperative vendor that is compatible with your product requirements, production quantities, target price, mode of distribution, and has the capabilities to produce your product in high quality. Movley can also help you audit your factories before moving forwards.
Explore Factory Selection
Phase 4: Factory Selection & Sourcing
Movley will cooperate with your supplier as project manager to build-out final designs, engineering plans, and manufacturing processes. For ODM products, the entire design and engineering stage is completed in this phase. Upon completion, the product should be mass manufacturable and ready to move into production.
Explore Product Development
Phase 5: Finalized Product Development
Movley will craft a list of product specifications and a quality control plan to be used as a benchmark for all goods production. This plan helps serve as an informal agreement with your supplier to retain a specified quality level and serves as a basis for the on-going goods inspections in the manufacturing process.
Explore Quality Control
Phase 9: Quality Planning
After a successful production validation test (PVT), any leftover product improvements are finalized and samples provided. At this point, the supply-chain is built out, and we move into the production oversight phase.
Explore Production Oversight
Phase 12: Mass Production
Explore Management Services
Up on-going mass production or the completion of the PVT batch, we can help with master and inner cartons for shipping, palletization, and getting the product to your warehouse or end destination quickly, safely, and efficiently.
Phase 13: Logistics
Once the product is in steady-state production, Movley can help continually make improvements to the product in cooperation with your manufacturing partners whether it is process, quality, or price improvements.
Phase 4: Supply-Chain & Product Optimization
Once you have product specifications, for OEM products you will need to begin the design and engineering phases. This phase is on-going and often interwoven with the other phases. You will need strong designs for manufacturing and build-out manufacturing process and requirements to be further explored.
Explore Product Development
Phase 2: Design & Engineering
For OEM Products Only
For OEM Products Only
Once you have finished the design for manufacturing process, it's important to build a prototype to ensure the product is functional and usable. Movley can help you find and build with a prototype vendor on-the-ground in China if you do not wish to build this in-house. This prototype ensures manufacturing compatibility and allows you to spot any issues before moving to the OEM manufacturing phase.
Explore Product Development
Phase 3: Engineering & Design Proof of Concept/Prototype
With finalized engineering schematics, it's important to ensure the product is fully functional and mass produceable. The EVT test is a small batch of engineering-focused units to ensure that the engineering is process is polished and mass-produceable.
Phase 8: Engineering Validation Test (EVT)
Working with the supplier and your team, Movley will help aid the process of getting your product certified for its target markets. This may include UL, ETL, FCC, etc. certification processes. Your product will be sent out to appropriate labs, tested, and certified. It's important to know and clarify your certification requirements during the engineering and design phases to ensure this phase moves successfully.
Phase 11: Certifications & Compliance
Once the design has been finalized or nearly fully prepared, we will work with your supplier to conduct a DVT production round. This is a small production round focused on ensuring product design manufacturing compatibility. The products from this production round will not be functional as the round is focused only on the product design.
Phase 7: Design Validation Test (DVT)
